Job Opportunity: 2nd Officer SDPO for Cable Laying Vessel

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Officer SDPO to join our team for a project in the Netherlands. This role is a great opportunity to work on a cable laying vessel and contribute to the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system to maintain the vessel's position and heading.
  • Monitor DP system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and stability.
  • Troubleshoot and report any DP system malfunctions or anomalies.
  • Monitor navigational equipment and ensure compliance with navigational rules and regulations.
  • Plan and execute navigational routes as required.
  • Adjust vessel positioning as required to support precise cable laying operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous working experience in a Cable Laying vessel.
  • DP Offshore Unlimited Operator.
  • Relevant Offshore certificates.
  • GWO Sea Survival certificate.
