Job Title: Bank Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Support Assistant to join our team at The Cedar Foundation. As a Bank Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting service users with activities of daily living, facilitating their inclusion in various activities, and supporting them with identified personal care and support needs. You will work flexibly and be available to work unsociable hours and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist service users with activities of daily living, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Facilitate the inclusion of service users in a broad range of activities, promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
  • Support service users with identified personal care and support needs, working collaboratively with the care team to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work flexibly and be available to work unsociable hours and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 6 months experience of providing care/support.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, including numeracy skills.
  • Working knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities.
  • Demonstratable understanding and knowledge of behaviours that challenge.
