Nursery Practitioner Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team at a primary school in Waltham Cross. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, providing essential support to three children with SEN needs, particularly those with Autism (ASC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to children with SEN (ASC) needs, helping them navigate daily routines.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and activities to meet the specific learning needs of the children, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
- Foster a positive and engaging environment where each child feels supported and included in their learning journey.
- Collaborate with the school's SEN team to ensure the educational and emotional needs of the children are met effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Teaching Assistant (Nursery TA), particularly with children who have SEN or Autism (ASC).
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude, essential for supporting children with special needs.
- A valid enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one through Reeson Education.
