About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer Trainee to join our team at SLB. As a Maintenance Engineer Trainee, you will play a critical role in improving the efficiency and reliability of our equipment assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Improvement Initiatives: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance asset utilization, reliability, and cost of service delivery.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Efforts: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve asset turnaround time, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators to inform improvement initiatives and optimize maintenance processes.
  • Participate in Failure Investigations: Collaborate with the Reliability and Cost of Service Delivery team to investigate equipment failures and identify root causes.
  • Support Technical Audits and Compliance Assessments: Participate in periodic technical audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in maintenance processes and workflows, with a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
