We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Chester, VA team at Excel Truck Group.
This is a rare opportunity to lead our team's efforts in providing exceptional truck diagnostic, repair, and solutions for customer fleet needs.
The ideal candidate will have diesel truck service and repair experience, as well as experience as a supervisor or foreman.
About the Position- Drive excellence in our team's performance by setting goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with technicians to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to help technicians grow in their roles.
- Maintain open communications with technicians, management team, and customers regarding job/repair status changes.
- Promote cooperation and teamwork among technicians and support staff.
- Diesel truck service and repair experience.
- Experience as a supervisor or foreman.
- Knowledge of Freightliner, Sterling, Mack, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins equipment.
- Computer experience with Service Department Operating systems and general functionality involving Service processes.
