Industrial Painter Job Description

MSS Facilities Ltd and the RSK Group are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join their team based in Llanelli, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The RSK Group is a 500-strong company of skilled professionals operating in regulated and frequently hazardous environments, providing industrial and commercial cleaning, waste management, asbestos removal, water treatment, and security services, in addition to asbestos consultancy and retrofit work.

As a key member of the team, the Industrial Painter will be responsible for:

  • Preparing all surfaces and surrounding areas for painting.
  • Ensuring the correct paint is used on the correct surfaces.
  • Mixing paint and thinners to desired requirements.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards before, during, and on completion of a task.
  • Regular communication with the Supervisor to guarantee smooth operation and contract delivery.
  • Participating in toolbox talks for training purposes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Health & Safety awareness.
  • COSHH knowledge.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the properties of paint and other coating materials.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and tasks accordingly.
