Quantinuum is at the forefront of the quantum computing revolution, and we're seeking a talented Quantum Compiler Engineer to join our team in Broomfield, CO.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled engineer to design and develop compiler front-end, back-end, and optimization passes operating on both classical and quantum operations. You'll work closely with our compiler specialists to create user-friendly languages and tools for crafting quantum programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize compiler passes for quantum circuit optimization and classical optimization
  • Benchmark and profile the execution performance of our compiler and quantum programs
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of a compiler targeting a real-time, distributed execution environment
  • Work with a diverse team to solve complex problems and create high-quality code in an R&D environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of industry or post-graduate experience in engineering, lab, or R&D environment
  • Minimum 6+ years of programming experience with Python, Rust, C++, or similar language
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder)
