Job Title: Maths and English Tutor for Key Stage 3 Students

Location: East of England, Essex, Epping

  • Deliver high-quality Maths and English tutoring to Key Stage 3 students, providing individualized support to help them achieve academic success.
  • Design and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting a love for learning and academic growth.
  • Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly, ensuring that each student receives the support they require to excel.
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to students and parents, keeping them informed of their child's academic progress and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic development, working closely with teachers and other educators to ensure a seamless and effective learning experience.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths and English at Key Stage 3 level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, with a strong foundation in Maths and English education.

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience in Maths and English at Key Stage 3 level, with a proven track record of academic success and student growth.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Solid understanding of the Key Stage 3 Maths and English curriculum, with the ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, with a focus on promoting academic excellence and student engagement.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in the learners' home, providing flexible and personalized support to meet the needs of each student.
  • Potential for travel to various locations within the East of England, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
