About the Role

We're seeking an experienced physicist to join our Nuclear and Thermal Analysis team in our Energy business. As a consultancy business, we support many projects across various sectors, including the UK nuclear energy sector and broader nuclear industry.

As a physicist and analyst, you'll be responsible for undertaking physics assessments for civil nuclear power technologies, bid writing, and commercial awareness. You'll also be working on safety case construction, assimilating complex technical issues, and providing judgements clearly and concisely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support projects in reactor physics, shielding, criticality, fuel cycle management, thermal analysis, fault studies, and transient analysis
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Contribute to the growth of the team and the business
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and knowledge
