Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team in an outstanding Community in Cambridge on a locum basis.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a positive attitude towards taking on new challenges and improving their skillset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to patients, working with them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, taking into account the individual needs and preferences of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for patient empowerment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and research in occupational therapy, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Occupational Therapist with a degree in OT and a full HCPC registration.
  • Previous OT experience in the UK, with a strong understanding of the NHS and private sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the service.
