Mechanical Supervisor Job Description

Are you a skilled Mechanical Supervisor looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Swaleside.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the shift to deliver planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and other aid as required.
  • Undertake staff appraisals and provide relevant performance information to Line Managers.
  • Manage the tool inventory and maintain security standards within the work area.
  • Ensure compliance with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements.
  • Work on commercial or industrial heating and water or building services systems.
Requirements:
  • Qualified plumber with C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating), and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial mechanical or heating systems.
