Electrical Installation Technician - phs Group

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Technician to join our team at phs Group. As an Electrical Installation Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out LED lighting replacements, ensuring all paperwork and certification are completed, and liaising with the Project Manager on a daily/weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out LED lighting replacements in hours and out of hours, in line with the project schedule
  • Ensure all paperwork and certification are completed and submitted on time
  • Liaise with the Project Manager on a daily/weekly basis to give regular updates of scheduled jobs
  • Take in deliveries from multiple manufacturers, hire, and waste companies
  • Have detailed knowledge of the contract, drawings, and specifications for the project
  • Upon completion, deliver the handover of all completed works to the site manager

Requirements:

  • The flexibility to work 40 hours per week or more, including evening/twilight shifts to support the project's requirements
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away from home
  • 6 month fixed term contract
  • Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
  • Electrical experience/knowledge, working towards basic electrical qualifications
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
  • IPAF 3a & 3b
  • A good level of IT literacy
  • Experience with electrical installation/project work – Specifically commercial lighting replacements
  • An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace
