Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Fire Safety Professional to join our team as a Trainee Health and Safety Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to develop their skills and expertise in health and safety, contributing to the safe and sustainable operation of a critical estate.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate and coach teams. They will also have a thorough understanding of workplace safety requirements and legal compliance.

The salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a contributory pension scheme, up to 25 days annual leave, and a range of benefits including a NEBOSH qualification and Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and management of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative updates and best practices.
  • Provide practical SHE advice tailored to industry guidance and workplace contexts.
  • Assist with SHE monitoring systems and maintain records that comply with legal and workplace requirements.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have British nationality due to site requirements. A full UK driving license and the ability to obtain SC clearance are also mandatory. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old and have a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize the financial implications of safety decisions.
