About The Role
At EKFB, we are seeking a Utilities Construction Manager to join our team in the Greatworth to Southam area of works. The Utilities Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring a fully compliant system of work for the delivery of all Contestable Utility Diversions and Connections to time, quality, and budget.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Designer, Statutory Undertaker, Construction team stakeholders, and HS2 to deliver utility designs to ensure fully coordinated proposals are delivered. The Utilities Construction Manager will produce information that supports the Utilities Process Coordinator through the delivery of C4-C9 NRSWA process and HS2 requirements and ensure compliance with the contract.
The Utilities Construction Manager will be expected to integrate with the area Construction teams to deliver all aspects of the allocated Contestable utility scope, including potential growth in scope.
Key Responsibilities- Producing routine progress reports to the Utilities Project Manager and Construction teams.
- Leading key meetings with internal and external stakeholders, recording, writing, and communicating actions and key points.
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure best practices are always integrated at the local level.
- Notifying Supply Chain partners, Statutory Undertakers, and other relevant project partners in accordance with the programme of works required.
- Identifying General Communication and Early Warnings to mitigate risks, issues, and enable the realization of opportunities.
- Capturing As-Built information around Utilities and distributing this in accordance with the EKFB information management protocols.
- Working closely with the Utilities Project Manager and Commercial Manager in completing Contestable Utility works, including the adoption and handover procedure with the Statutory Undertakers.
- Integrating best safety practices into EKFB from industry, HS2, and Statutory Undertakers into the delivery of works around Utilities.
- Actively promoting and embedding Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and supporting and complying with all organizational initiatives, policies, and procedures on EDI.
- Working in accordance with the EKFB BMS policies & procedures.
