Job Overview
Kwikpac Ltd is seeking a meticulous and experienced bookkeeper to support the financial health of our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals, to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers, while managing cash flow and reducing costs
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies to prevent financial losses
- Implement credit control measures to ensure timely payment from customers
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards, including financial reporting and auditing
- Utilise accounting software, such as Sage 50/200, to efficiently manage financial records and data
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage, and a strong analytical skillset
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and a strong understanding of financial regulations
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
