About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuary to join our team at Gravitas, where you will play a key role in helping us achieve our business objectives. As a Reserving Actuary, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and advice on reserving matters, working closely with our Manager and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough reviews of our reserving processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance their effectiveness.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate and reliable reserving models, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  3. Collaborate with our finance, claims, underwriting, and actuarial teams to provide insights and recommendations on reserving matters, ensuring a cohesive and informed approach to our business.
  4. Embed new acquisitions into our business, working closely with our Manager and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
  5. Contribute to the development of our actuarial projects, applying your expertise and knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Actuary with a strong background in Property & Casualty reserving, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. If you are a motivated and ambitious individual who is passionate about actuarial work, we would love to hear from you.
