About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join our team at The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm, PC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping families navigate the complexities of planning for their futures.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, developing customized estate plans and providing guidance on related matters.

The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm, PC is dedicated to providing exceptional estate planning services to families with young children and empty nesters. We are compassionate and take a personalized approach to ensuring our clients secure their future and protect their loved ones.

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive estate plans and trust documents to meet the unique needs of families with young children.
  • Help parents develop comprehensive guardianship plans for their minor children.
  • Draft, review and finalize estate planning documents.
  • Present educational workshops and webinars to the community, which could involve after-hour events.
  • Meet and network with financial advisors, accountants and other professionals to develop cross-referral opportunities.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to their approach and ours.
  • Supervise and delegate work to Paralegals and Legal Assistants to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Work directly with the Firm owner and the legal team to develop and modify processes and procedures that ensure a smooth workflow.
  • This position is bonus eligible.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 4-6 years of experience in estate planning.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, NH is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning laws.
  • Experience designing and drafting comprehensive estate plans, including revocable and irrevocable trusts.
  • Experience with asset protection planning.
  • Experience with trust and estate administration is a strong plus.
  • You are adept at working in Windows and Microsoft Office environments; Hubspot is a plus.
  • Experience drafting estate plans on a software-based platform (especially Adapt or Wealth Docx) is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate and client-focused with strong communication skills.
Compensation

$125,000 - $145,000 yearly
