**Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at our Kendal facility. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and promoting a quality culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Company's Business Management System: Ensure that our business management system is up-to-date and compliant with ISO 9001 and IATF standards.
  • Management & Administration of the Material Review Board (MRB): Oversee the MRB process to ensure that all materials meet our quality standards.
  • Design & Implement Quality Procedures: Develop and implement quality procedures to improve our products and processes.
  • Perform Product & Process Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure that our products and processes meet our quality standards.
  • Perform MSA & Process Capability Studies: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve product and process quality.
  • Gather, Analyze & Interpret Data: Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Administration of and Participation in Customer Complaint Investigations: Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.

    Key Elements of the Role:

    • Improvement: Actively promote product and process improvement through data-driven decision making.
    • Auditing: Conduct regular audits to ensure that our quality standards are met.
    • Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are upheld.

    Requirements:

    • HNC in an Engineering Discipline: A Higher National Certificate in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
    • Professional Exposure to a Manufacturing Environment: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in Quality Systems Auditing: Experience in quality systems auditing is desirable, but training will be provided.
    • At Least 2 Years' Experience in a Quality Role: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality role.
    • Advanced Levels of Numeracy & Literacy: Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
