Unitruc LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV – ADR Tanker Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely delivering and collecting various chemicals across the UK.

Job Type and Location

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Widnes, with regular nights out and guaranteed 4 nights out per week.

Salary and Benefits

Our competitive salary is £53,820 P.A, with the opportunity to earn up to 10 hours of overtime per week. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:

  • Weekly pay

  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year

  • One to three weeks training, dependent on experience, and renewal training (inc CPC & ADR) paid for by the company
The Role

As a Class 1 HGV – ADR Tanker Driver, you will be paired with our experienced driver trainer to learn the skills and knowledge required for this role. You will be responsible for:

  • Safely delivering and collecting various chemicals
  • Working with our transport team to allocate jobs and communicate any delays or issues
  • Maintaining a valid Digital tacho and up-to-date CPC Card
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 1 HGV license
  • An ADR license in tanks, all classes except 1 & 7
  • Sound safe working practices and a commitment to health and safety
