PSR Solutions is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Director to drive the delivery of high-quality mechanical projects in Winchester, Hampshire.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multi-million MEP/Building Services projects and a proven track record of success. The salary for this role is estimated at £65,000 - £70,000 per annum, plus company benefits and package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • To develop and implement a comprehensive project quality plan, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes.
  • To work closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Director to create a resource strategy, engaging subcontractors and direct employees as needed.
  • To review designs, identify potential issues, and report on progress to ensure all contractual requirements are met.
  • To manage procurement schedules, ensuring timely and profitable execution.
  • To lead the team, including specialist subcontractors, through all stages of the project, taking line management responsibility for MEP Site Managers.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing large-scale MEP/Building Services projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
  • Strong commercial management skills, with a focus on cost control and profitability.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software packages, including Office 365 and program management tools.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications and certifications, such as SMSTS and IOSH Managing Safely.
