Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in our research team, contributing to cutting-edge translational research designed to unravel the complex multicellular ecosystems that drive breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Assist in the design and execution of experiments, including tissue imaging and machine learning-based analysis.
  • Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to identify research questions and develop research plans.
  • Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest research in the field.
  • Prepare and present research findings to the research team and at scientific meetings.

Requirements:

  • MSc degree in computational biology or equivalent.
  • Strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Previous experience in cancer research and immunology is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
