We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator to join our Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds sites. This is a 40-hour role, working 5 days per week, including weekends on a rotational basis.

Main Responsibilities
  • To manage clinic diaries, ensuring efficient patient appointment scheduling.
  • Act as the central point of contact for patient and clinic staff inquiries, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintain ongoing professional development and clinical governance through participation in appraisal processes, clinical audits, and research initiatives.
  • Action clinic cancellations according to instructions.
  • Take responsibility for reinstating clinics and rebooking patients as needed.
  • Implement changes to clinic start/finish times for training, staffing, or operational purposes.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly clinic schedules.
  • Analyze and monitor clinic activity to achieve target utilization.
  • Exercise autonomy to identify additional clinics required to reduce wait times and escalate this to the Service Manager.
