We're currently seeking a talented Editorial Metadata Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As an Editorial Metadata Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of metadata across our ITVX service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all editorial metadata, including programme synopses, episode descriptions, identifying key cast and creatives, and ensuring that genres, sub-genres, keywords, and other metadata are consistently applied to content.
  • Overseeing the tagging of all content & creating customer-facing tags if needed.
  • Taking a lead in the editorialization of content - merchandising & building future collections.
  • Responsible for regularly refreshing several genre collections.
  • Play an active role in briefing other teams on the latest streaming plans, with a particular focus on marketing, PR & social, and liaising with them over messaging for ITVX.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in writing clear and engaging copy, ideally for a UK broadcaster/VOD service.
  • Knowledge and passion for TV and Film content with the ability to communicate complex information to viewers in a clear & engaging way.
  • Motivated, confident, flexible person capable of working at pace, under pressure, managing multiple demands efficiently.
  • Exceptional creative skills.
  • Strong, agile, project management acumen with excellent attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
