We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a well-established main contractor, on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in main contracting, with experience of projects over GBP1 million. They will reside within commutable distance of the Bristol area and have a strong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and build schemes with recognized main contractors.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing contractor that can offer genuine long-term prospects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues

Requirements:

  • Proven background in main contracting
  • Experience of projects over GBP1 million
  • Strong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and build schemes with recognized main contractors
  • Resides within commutable distance of the Bristol area
