Category Manager

You will work closely with our suppliers, along with cross-functional teams and stakeholders here at Zapp, to drive category growth and optimize inventory levels of our Perishable products.

Key Responsibilities:- Analytics & Insights: Produce detailed analysis and insights on category opportunities, along with analytical support in the development of category plans.
- Category Strategy: Analyze company data and external market data to determine key trends to drive category strategies.
- New Business Engagement: Engage with new businesses to increase brand awareness and product range.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams across marketing, social, product, and partnerships to optimize our customer offering, increase brand investments, and hit company targets along with brand growth.
- A minimum of 5 years category management/buying experience specialising in perishable products in a food or luxury retailer.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in category management/buying within perishable products.
- Creative problem solver with an eye for detail. Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Enjoy 25 days holiday per year (plus all bank holidays).
