Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of adult social care services, including the development of new initiatives and the enhancement of existing ones.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and elected members to deliver key improvement projects and ensure the department is aligned with the council's overall strategy.
  • Prepare the department for the new CQC Local Authority inspection framework and drive continuous improvement across adult social care services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading programme development and delivery in a local authority or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of the CQC inspection framework and the ability to prepare the department for inspections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, elected members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of adult social care services.
