Job Title: Head of Food and Sport Development

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the global food and sports brand strategy for all existing and emerging categories. This includes translating consumer, trend, and market insight into product innovation strategies and rolling 3-5 year NPD plans for the total H&B Branded food and sports range.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global food and sports brand strategy that aligns with the company's business and category strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal design studios to deliver best-in-class packaging designs that meet company brand visual identity standards.
  • Develop globally compelling differentiated product propositions based on strong consumer insight, competitor, and market knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Director of NPD and nutrition and science teams to set evolving frameworks that reflect the latest health landscape, ensuring H&B branded products are relevant and efficacious.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global counterparts to ensure their customers and markets are considered when developing food and sports products.
Requirements:
  • Extensive relevant retail/FMCG brand/product development experience within food and/or drink.
  • A self-starter with experience leading multiple projects and implementing new processes.
  • Proven track record of delivering step-changing commercial results through large-scale NPD projects.
  • Experience in developing brand positioning, innovation strategies, three-year product plans, and concepts.
  • Ability to implement new business processes, creative thinking, and supplier ways of working.
