HSQE Coordinator

At P T Contracts, we are seeking a highly skilled HSQE Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our SHEQ processes, providing administrative support in SHEQ meetings, and leading effective document control and coordination of Management Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation, with a proven track record of working in a similar role. They will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to communicate and engage with people across all levels, and have a dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Ensuring effective management of SHEQ processes
• Providing administrative support in SHEQ meetings
• Leading effective document control and coordination of Management Systems
• Being the first point of contact for any interaction with Lloyds Register and other external auditors
• Assisting the planning of third-party audits and coordinating internal audits to ensure ISO standards are being met
• Liaising with departmental managers to follow up on any non-conformances
• Championing Health and Safety on site and actively promoting a safety culture
• Helping to carry out risk assessments and putting countermeasures in place to prevent accidents
• Creating a record of accidents with statistics and correlations
• Keeping up to date with new legislation, company, and other safety information and briefing the management team accordingly
