Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in their manufacturing facility. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake the commissioning and installation of new plant equipment
  • Follow routine preventative and PPM schedules
  • Work on projects including new machine installation
  • React to any faults on machinery, rectifying issues and documenting them to prevent recurrence
  • Follow on-site procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment and machinery
  • Complete all required documentation
  • Build relationships with internal departments and teams, and liaise with external contractors while on site
  • Understand and promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance
Requirements:
  • HNC / HND / ONC Maintenance Qualification (Time Served)
  • Experience in a high-demanding manufacturing industry
  • Exposure to projects including cable pulling, installation of new machines, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • PLC experience (open to which PLC, if your skills are transferable)
  • Strong machine installation experience from previous roles
  • Strong fault diagnostics and fault finding on a range of machinery
  • 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations (desired)
