About the Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Director for Industrial Capex. This role will be responsible for ensuring early involvement of procurement in Capex projects through on-going review of the 3-year Capex plan, maximizing value across the Capex budget, and reducing Structure Costs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To execute the Group Sourcing Strategy for Industrial Capex investments, delivering value creation along three sources of value (Buy Better, Spend Better, and Track Better)
  2. To prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits and monitor category budget to drive structure costs reduction
  3. To be responsible for supplier identification, development, and management, including negotiations with suppliers and delivering cost-effectiveness of Capex in balance with technical requirements
  4. To support key stakeholders in the implementation of transversal ways of working with Chivas Brothers as well as Group functions and to liaise with Capex Managers and Technical Project Leaders to discuss the procurement model and ensure alignment
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering background and strong Industrial Capex / Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) / Maintenance expertise
  • Experience in building category strategy and running complex Request for Proposals (RFPs) across multiple categories for Industrial Capex areas
  • Advanced negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills with strong financial acumen and the ability to build relationships with functional owners and embed procurement process and performance metrics
