Fuels Operations Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Fuels Operative to join our team at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our Fuels and Lubricants team, you will play a critical role in delivering a 24/7 service that ensures the safe and efficient refueling of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fuels assurance and governance checks to ensure fuel quality and facilitate husbandry in all areas.
- Refuel and defuel aircraft, visiting aircraft, and road tankers, as well as perform tank-to-tank transfers of fuel and undertake Fuel Movement Support activity.
- Undertake quality checks on all fuel and associated equipment, including fuel dips, fuel sampling, hose checks, and fuel assurance checks in accordance with policy.
- Provide immediate emergency response in the event of a spillage and utilize BFIS to account for all fuelling events.
- Respond promptly to fuel contamination and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fuelling systems.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license required.
- Colour perception to gain a permit for airfield driving.
- C1 license required to complete this role.
