About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Community Eating Disorder Service team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive service to children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and support to individuals and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the maintenance of accurate records.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a mental health setting.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with eating disorders is desirable.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
