About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Warburtons. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing planned and preventative maintenance, using your engineering expertise to develop robust, long-term solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including bulk handling systems, processing and packaging, site services, and PLC control systems.
  • Use your engineering expertise to develop and implement long-term solutions to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with production, safety, and hygiene departments to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Identify and complete continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing plant efficiency, reducing downtime, and saving energy and associated costs.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of maintenance in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • HandS/Food Safety systems and legislation knowledge, including PUWER and IOSH.
  • IT and PC knowledge, including proficiency in Office and SAP software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and coach others.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, anticipate issues, and take steps to resolve them.
