Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting our pupils in mainstream classes.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction of the classroom teacher.

You will have the opportunity to work with individuals or small groups, supporting pupils to understand instructions and facilitate independent learning, helping to provide inclusion for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with their learning and development
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Providing individualized support to pupils with specific needs
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Experience of working with children in a similar environment
  • A good general education including English, Maths and Science GCSE's
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Evidence of other TA related qualifications or training, and experience of supporting those with specific learning difficulties would be an advantage.
