About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trust Fellow in Upper GI Surgery to join their dynamic benign UGI unit. As a Trust Fellow, you will be mentored by a practicing consultant surgeon and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, including advanced physiology services and tertiary benign oesophago-gastric services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in covering the General Surgery oncall rota, including long days, weekends, nights, and bank holiday cover
  • Work closely with the consultant surgeon to develop your skills and knowledge in Upper GI Surgery
  • Contribute to the development of the department's services and protocols

Requirements

  • ST3+ level experience in Upper GI Surgery
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
