About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team at Rentokil Initial, a leading provider of property preservation services in the UK. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers across the Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip and replace timber floors, door frames, architraves, windows, and doors
  • Remove plaster prior to installing damp proof courses
  • Carry out timber treatments such as woodworm sprays and fungal decay work
  • Perform patch plastering tasks
  • Conduct basement waterproofing work and structural defects repairs, including wall tie installation and crack-stitching

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license
  • Construction experience
  • Proactive attitude with strong initiative
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Willingness to perform hands-on tasks
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Joinery qualification
  • Experience as a time-served joiner/carpenter
