Childcare Therapist

Job Opportunity:

We are looking for an exceptional Childcare Therapist to join our team at SGS Care Ltd in Huddersfield.

This role involves providing therapeutic support to children aged 6-17 with EBD, trauma, and neglect backgrounds.

• Annual salary: £28,000 - £35,000, based on experience
• Flexible working hours, including daytime and evening shifts
• Regular training and supervision to ensure best practice

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering individualised therapeutic plans, promoting the children's emotional and psychological well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
• Support children in achieving their personal goals and aspirations
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Diploma in Residential Childcare or related field
• Minimum 12 months of experience in residential childcare
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
