Job Description

About Alan Mitchell - Our advisory boutique operates across the UK and Europe, with a strong presence in London. We advise Private Equity firms and corporates on debt finance related projects.

We are seeking an Associate to join our successful Debt Advisory team. The successful candidate will work closely with a small group of professionals, gaining direct access to leadership, assuming significant responsibility, experiencing deal-flow, and opportunity for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and pitches for new business opportunities.
  • Undertake financial modelling and produce detailed valuations.
  • Write information memoranda and client presentations.
  • Produce briefing notes and research on trends in the debt markets.
  • Research, collate, and interpret data to present a complete picture of an organisation or sector.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients in transaction management.
  • Build relationships with lawyers, accountants, consultants, and potential clients.
  • Interact with peers in other teams and offices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic record (at least a 2.1 degree).
  • Prior experience in investment banking, commercial banking, debt advisory, or accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling (Excel).
  • Experience in writing presentations (PowerPoint) and information memoranda (Word).

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
