Job Title: Mints Major Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mints Major Practitioner to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, developing and implementing care programs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess presenting conditions and initiate investigations
  • Determine differential diagnosis and initiate treatment
  • Review treatment plans and advise on discharge or referral
  • Supervise and develop junior staff in the absence of the Team Leader
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse with current revalidation and NMC Registration
  • Graduate Certificate in Urgent Care or Equivalent
  • Mints Major / Minor Injury practitioner or Emergency Nurse Practitioner qualification
  • Postgraduate expertise within the speciality/area of practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures
