About the Role

Frontline Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator Lead to oversee commercial building projects from inception to completion. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, adhering to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Maintain site team compliance with company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to plan tender handover meetings and determine the best delivery model for projects.
  • Produce and analyze progress reports to ensure monitoring against commercial plans, driving successful project outcomes.
  • Track project costs, variations, and valuations, showcasing commercial acumen.
  • Implement risk management processes, reviewing risk registers and ensuring effective controls during projects.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of progress, budgets, resources, and forward planning, maintaining lookahead programs.
  • Manage design timelines, ensuring timely delivery in line with project requirements.
  • Allocate health, safety, and environment responsibilities to site personnel, providing necessary training and support.
  • Oversee HSE-related documentation, conducting site inspections, audits, and reporting, liaising with relevant parties.
  • Promote quality assurance, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure subcontractors perform in accordance with health and safety and quality standards.

Person Specification

  • Experience in managing commercial projects, including logistics, office fit-outs, healthcare, and retail.
  • Familiarity with contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, cost control, programming, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with both customers and staff.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
