Join Our Team as a Trainee Domiciliary Optical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Domiciliary Optical Assistant in the Belfast region. As a Trainee Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality eye care to patients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. You will be responsible for visiting patients in their homes, conducting eye exams, and providing personalized care and advice. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct eye exams and provide personalized care and advice to patients in their homes
  • Work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Provide high-quality eye care to patients in the Belfast and surrounding areas
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Optical experience (training will be provided)
  • A full and clean driving license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A kind and compassionate nature
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £22,698 per year, plus a performance-related bonus worth up to an additional £2,000. You will also receive a company pool car and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. Additionally, you will have access to our WeCare and healthcare support programs.
