Press Brake Setter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter to join our team at Pertemps Telford. As a Press Brake Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating press brakes on the shop floor to manufacture components from metal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating press brakes to manufacture metal components
  • Preparing, setting up, and adjusting press brakes as required by product plans and production schedules
  • Measuring and aligning materials to be used
  • Inspecting products and evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Performing routine maintenance on press brakes and other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work
  • Experience with hand/cutting tools
  • Quality-driven individual with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment when required
  • Reliable and able to think on own initiative

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4:30pm, Friday: 8am – 3:30pm

Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour
