Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

Maintenance Engineer (Ad-Hoc shifts)
Hourly rates: 25 - 30p/hr; outside-IR35
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of planned preventative maintenance and suggesting improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all aspects of planned preventative maintenance and suggest improvements.
- Responsible for mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Ensure effective, timely incident/accident reporting.
- Ensure effective time management and prioritisation of workload.
Required Qualifications:
- City and Guilds, equivalent education (NVQ), or recognised apprenticeship (ideally electrically biased).
- Engineering experience in a similar operation including parcel handling, FMCG/manufacturing.
- Experience with inverter drives, SCADA control, profibus, Asi, and PC/PLC control would be advantageous.
- UK driver's license.
