Job Description:

As a key member of our IT team, you'll have the opportunity to work on strategic projects, collaborate with colleagues worldwide, and develop technical skills that will set you up for success. You'll be responsible for:

  • Application Support and Development
  • Incident management, change management, problem management for IT activities
  • Network (LAN, Wi-Fi, front line support)
  • Cyber Security (installation of patches, application testing, configuration and support)
  • Digital manufacturing (investigate future technologies, adaptability to local sites)

You'll work closely with business partners and external vendors to deliver IT services, driving operational excellence with a strong customer focus. Our placement students can expect to return to university with further developed technical skills and experience of how university learning is applied to the workplace.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this placement, you must be in your penultimate year of study unless enrolled in an integrated master's program. You'll need to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of Information Technology and Digital Technology, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
