About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Discipline Lead to join our EICA team in Preston, with flexible working arrangements available. This is a key opportunity for a technical leader to drive the success of our engineering discipline across the region.

This role reports directly to the REL and involves providing strategic leadership to ensure the technical discipline is well-positioned, has the right competencies and capacity, and adheres to standard design practices. You will also be responsible for developing your team members and contributing to the growth of the discipline.

The successful candidate will have excellent people management skills, with experience in training and development planning, staffing levels, and long-term succession planning. They will also possess strong engineering discipline management skills, including competency management, technical quality control, and task delivery methods.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will contribute to the definition and implementation of technical strategy, improve discipline productivity, and manage tactical technical risk. As a senior professional, you will also be expected to maintain your own continuous professional development, participate in industry events, and provide feedback and ideas to colleagues.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of £85,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
