Year 4 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Shinfield, Reading. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality education and creating engaging learning experiences for students.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and a positive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of students, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and improvement.
  • Develop maths skills and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry to students.
  • Help students develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor student progress and report back to parents as necessary.

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching LKS2
  • The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
