Salary: £54,793 + depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Team Lead to join our team at BAE Systems - UK. As a key member of our Simulation & Synthetic Engineering Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Manage project tasks and resources to ensure efficient delivery
  • Collaborate with the ACR Technical Lead to ensure the ACR provides an efficient design prototyping service
  • Manage personnel and sub-contract staff to ensure an integrated team
  • Ensure quality and standards are met in configuration and documentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience
  • Experienced Software Engineer with experience in C/C++
  • Simulation Software and Hardware experience
  • Agile methodology experience, with experience of Jira
  • Experience of leading teams
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Mission Systems would be desirable
