Insurance Business Development Manager

Cavendish Maine, an established specialist Insurance Broker part of a larger national Business Services group, is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join their established new business team. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial insurance experience and a strong understanding of the fundamentals of Insurance, its legal context, and the operation of the Insurance marketplace.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with clients, prospects, and insurers, developing and growing long-term client accounts, preparing market submissions to insurers, and negotiating policy terms, conditions, premium, and income. They will also assess and identify areas of uninsured risks. A well-established network of commercial insurance contacts and a demonstrated success providing telephone-based advice in sales are essential.
This hybrid role can be based from any of Cavendish Maine's UK offices, with 2 days/week spent in the office. The company offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000, car allowance, and an excellent opportunity for career development and progression.
