This role offers an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Building Services Senior Electrical Engineer.

Job Description:

This is a senior electrical design engineer role that requires a high level of expertise in electrical building services and power distribution systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in design engineering, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality detailed engineering designs, managing projects, and establishing strong relationships with stakeholders.

This role may involve travel to various locations, so you should be comfortable with occasional trips abroad.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality detailed engineering designs for electrical building services and power distribution systems.
  • Manage projects from inception to post-construction duties.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, design teams, authorities, utilities, and associated organisations.
  • Attend meetings with clients, project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Chartered Engineer qualification or be working towards it.
  • Demonstrate solid technical knowledge of your core engineering discipline and its role within the design team.
  • Show a broad understanding of other engineering disciplines involved in designing the built environment.
  • Hold a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standard design reference materials.
  • Be proficient in using Autodesk Revit, Amtech/Trimble, Dialux, and Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Able to negotiate and communicate effectively in graphical, written, or verbal forms.
  • Exhibit excellent organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Show a flexible attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of an effective team.
  • Flexible attitude and able to adapt to changing demands.
