Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health and Safety specialist to join our team at Meridian Business Support as an EHS Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS policies and programs, providing guidance and training on various safety-related topics, conducting risk assessments, and enforcing preventative measures to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on various safety-related topics, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures to mitigate risks
  • Enforce preventative measures to ensure a safe working environment, including regular inspections and audits
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business operations

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualified or equivalent experience in Environment, Health and Safety
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS policies and programs
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
